Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of taskforcetalent.com (the "site"), which is operated by Task Force Talent LLC ("Task Force Talent," "we," "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Our services
Task Force Talent is a recruiting firm. We identify candidates for open positions at our client companies and introduce candidates to those companies.
- We do not charge candidates any fee. Our fees are paid by client companies under separate written agreements.
- We do not guarantee that any candidate will receive an interview, an offer, or employment, or that any client will hire a candidate.
- Hiring decisions, offers, and terms of employment are made solely by the employer. We are not the employer of candidates placed with our clients.
- Submitting an application or a message through the site does not create an employment, agency, or other contractual relationship with us.
2. Job listings
Listings on the site describe openings at our client companies and are provided for general information. Openings may be filled, changed, or withdrawn at any time without notice. Salary ranges and compensation information are those provided by the employer for the relevant positions and are not offers of employment. Requirements such as citizenship or security clearance are set by the employer or by law, including federal rules that apply to government contracts.
3. Information you submit
You agree that information you submit is accurate and is yours to share. If you submit information about another person, such as through a referral, you confirm that you know that person and have a reasonable basis to share their contact information with us. Do not submit classified, controlled, or proprietary information, or information you are not authorized to disclose. Our use of personal information is described in our privacy policy.
4. Referral bonus program
The referral bonus program is governed by the program terms and conditions. If those terms conflict with these terms, the program terms apply to the program.
5. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- submit automated, false, or misleading applications, referrals, or messages;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems, or interfere with their operation;
- introduce malware or other harmful code;
- use the site to send unsolicited advertising or to harvest the contact information of others;
- impersonate Task Force Talent or its staff, or misrepresent your affiliation with us; or
- use the site in violation of any law.
Standard search engine indexing is permitted. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it through our contact form rather than testing it.
6. Recruiting fraud
People sometimes impersonate recruiting firms. We never ask candidates for payment, and we never ask you to buy equipment, cash a check, or provide financial account information as part of a job application. If you receive a suspicious message that claims to be from us, contact us through our contact form before responding.
7. Intellectual property
The site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and design, are owned by Task Force Talent or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for your personal, noncommercial use. Any other use requires our written permission. "Task Force Talent" and the TFT logo are our trademarks.
8. Third-party services and links
The site links to services operated by others, including the application pages of our applicant tracking system. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of those services, and your use of them is subject to their terms.
9. Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Information on the site, including articles and frequently asked questions, is general information and is not legal, tax, or financial advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Task Force Talent and its members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (U.S. $100). This limit does not apply to amounts owed under the referral bonus program or to liability that cannot be limited by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
11. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
12. Changes
We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new "last updated" date. Changes apply going forward. Your continued use of the site after the change means you accept the revised terms. Changes do not affect referrals already confirmed in writing.
13. General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms, together with the privacy policy and any program terms referenced above, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site.
